No-drip valves for neck finishes 26mm or larger. The Franz closed vent tube valve for plastic is incomparable in speed, construction and simplicity of design. The port or flow area is perfectly designed for highest speed. The tips are of hardened steel, the sealing tip ring is of rectangular shape and fits in a rectangular groove for safety against accidental dislodgment. The downward pressure required to open the valve is only 14 pounds, a minimum which cannot be approached by valves using plungers and "O" rings. The valve coordinates perfectly with Clean-In-Place equipment as there is no "O" ring cavity to be cleaned. Outside cam for smooth operation without springs reducing wear on the bearings, cam and all transmission members. This also limits the downward pressure on the bottle, and results in less wrinkling of the bottle.
Precise spacing of infeed and outfeed shafts to allow high speed filling. While on the centerline between filler bowl and infeed starwheel shafts and while controlled by the broad face of the
starwheel pocket and stainless steel A-bracket, each bottle is raised to exact engagement with the valve.
Air operated float and controller. A simple ball float is used to energize an air operated throttling valve. It controls the liquid level in the bowl to within 1/8" for consistent fill, and provides positive shutoff. This arrangement is supported by a cover which is ideally suited to Clean-In-Place equipment.
Removable bottom skirt.
Conveyor frame assembly with in and out guides.
Variable speed drive motor.
One set of table equipment.
(Yes, we can supply any of this equipment for your current filler.)
